Why Choose Us

Antiques Chosen with Heart and History

In 1997,  a beautiful antiques business called “Antika Antiques and Collectibles” was founded in Pickering Village. The owner, Lisa had an eye for unique pieces and she collected them one by one.  She also fulfilled requests to aquire them by her customers and brought them to her antique shop almost every day. Be it a Norval Morrisseau original painting, a very rare piece of jewelry,  a pine Canadiana furniture, a 17th century oak desk or a 19th century oil painting, she sold them all. For the unique Victorian mahogany pieces or Mid Century Modern collectibles, she showed the same respect and enthusiasm.  Having the passion and desire to always be involved in antiques, she also set up booths at many esteemed antique shows. She had customers from Toronto, Montreal or many cities from U.S. who were looking for that one unique piece.

Recently, she is retired, but she still collects and shares her best loved antiques online or at selected retail antique markets. Her antique pieces are appealing to anyone who loves to decorate with delicate and unique pieces from yester years.
